Constraint: Restricting a Vehicle's Delivery

Certain media vehicles deliver only to certain homes. The two most common possibilities are:
| • | Spot cable: Through NCC Media, you can buy placements that are seen on cable networks (mostly), but they're inserted into the programs by cable operators. Thus, only homes receiving through wired cable can potentially see these spots. |
| • | Satellite TV: Spots can be purchased through DirecTV or Dish to run on chosen cable networks. |
To See the "Constraint" Column
Click on the 
icon. (See "What to Show in the Table View".)
In the dialog that follows, click on the "Constraint" checkbox, and then OK.
Changing the "Constraint" Definition
Click under the "Constraint" column and on the line entry you wish to adjust. That brings up this popup menu:
Two constraint definitions are already provided, "Spot Cable" and "DBS" (satellite). If you need something else, use the "New" item to define it.
Use "All" to restore a media line to coverage of all homes in the current demo.
GRPs are for the Entire Current Demo!
When you buy 100 points on NCC or on DirecTV, you are buying national points rather than some kind of GRP definition based on the potential homes.
Note that this works differently than when you use the "Where" column!
