Choosing Television Components and Dayparts
We use the term "component" to mean a buyable television entity. In many cases, "daypart" is a quite suitable substitute word. However, while "daypart" is a familiar term, it sometimes seems woefully inadequate to cover the variety and breadth of the choices of television options in TView. "Daypart" is no longer simply a time of day.
To add a new line item to the TView plansheet, just click in the media area. A menu showing the main categories of television options will appear. Under each of these there are submenus, and many finer breaks are available, too.
Each submenu has an "All" item which is used to include all of the items in that group. If you want everything in network prime, choose the "All" item under "Prime". For example, note in the picture below how the "Prime" item leads to subitems "General", "Sports", and "Kids - Specials". Choose the "All" item to include all of prime.
