Starting with a New, Empty Script
On the "File" menu, choose "New Script".
A Nice List to Start: Sample Script
If you want to start with a generous choice of dayparts already defined in your new database, it's easier to start with an existing script and then add those custom dayparts that you will need.
TView provides sample scripts to get you started. Just choose "Open Sample Script" on the File menu.
Opening an Existing Script
You may create a TVD database, and then later want to revise that database. You'll need the original script file in order to edit it with your revisions. Just choose "Open Script" on the File menu.
